5 Reasons Why Team India May Have Avoided Media Before ICC World T20 2014

The under-fire Indian cricket team on Friday left for Bangladesh to participate in the ICC World Twenty20 Championships without holding the customary pre-departure press conference.Sunil Gavaskar gave Duncan Fletcher 1.5/10, former wicketkeeper Farokh Engineer gave him 0.5/10. Under coach Duncan Fletcher, India's away record is unimpressive. For a side that was World No. 1 in Tests when Fletcher took the reins, India have had a poor record outside the subcontient.

If the players are dropped after one-two poor games, why is coach still been persisted despite losing Test series in England, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand (and also home series against England)?

This is one of the questions Team India would not have been comfortable answering.

4 Views on Fixing in Cricket

Dhoni has evaded the match-fixing questions every single time. With BCCI's zero tolerance policies on fixing it would have been interesting to hear Dhoni's view on the matter.

3 Will Amit Mishra Get A Chance Ahead of CSK Spinners - Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja

Dhoni has been reluctant to use Amit Mishra as a lead spinner. There have been various speculations from former players about Dhoni going for playing Ashwin and Jadeja come what may.

With Mishra's good show in the Asia Cup it would have been interesting to hear captain's comments about the leggie.

This is one of the questions which would have made Dhoni uncomfortable.
