Says Ileana D'Cruz who doesn't toe the conventional line off-screen.

One of the very obvious things one would want to know from Ileana D'Cruz is her rather safe choice of films post the experimental Barfi! 

The actress who was applauded for her role in the Anurag Basu film has since opted for potboilers like Phata Poster Nikhla Hero and now Main Tera Hero. Quite a jump from the delicious Barfi! 

"I was fortunate that Barfi! happened to me. It was my The Dirty Picture and Kahaani . But such films don't come to you very often," she says defensively, adding that treading the Barfi! path would have typecast her as the "arty type", a tag she isn't too comfortable with. 

But then doesn't she fear being stereotyped as the go to girl for masala movies? "Not really, these are the films that audiences flock the theatres to watch and as an actor, you want to win the box office more than anything," she says candidly. "I've always been fond of masala entertainers and my filmography down South is a testimony to that." 

Believe this, Main Tera Hero is her "dream film". "I've laughed the hardest watching David Dhawan entertainers so when he called me to be a part in his next, I was ecstatic!" asserts the actress, adding that David's Biwi No 1 is her fave comedy. 

So now we can only expect a Main Tera Hero from her or god forbid, a Saali Kutti which is what Nikhil Advani's next with her and Imran Khan is supposedly titled? "I'm just in talks with him and haven't confirmed my participation yet," she quips, adroitly avoiding the subject of the Kutti title. 

Surprisingly, Ileana is not very active on the social front. She insists she's a 'gharelu' girl who's shy with strangers. But she has found a BFF in the film industry now, Kareena Kapoor. "We chill a lot together, go out for dinners and movies," she beams. "We met on the sets of Happy Ending (her upcoming film with Saif Ali Khan) in LA and since then have bonded like long lost sisters." 

Buzz is that she also has an Aussie boyfriend, Andrew Kneebone, a photographer who's supposedly married with three children. "I may be in love, but my private life stays private," snaps Ileana. "I don't make a big fuss about it because marriage is not important. I think it is overrated. I'd like a guy to stay committed to me, but not stay by my side just because he's married to me." 

Finally, we see a heroine with a difference!

In the latest promo of Dawid Dhawan's 'Main Tera Hero', actor Anupam Kher takes a dig at Katrina Kaif's Hindi. However, in the scene actor Varun Dhawan defends the pretty actress.

A Mid-day report says that in his dialogue, Anupam, who plays Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri's father, tells Varun, "Tumhari harkatein, kutte ki dum, aur Katrina ki Hindi aisi hai ki kabhi seedhi ho hi nahi sakti (Your behaviour, dog's tail and Katrina's Hindi can never improve). "However, Varun retorts back by saying, "sir, aajkal uski Hindi achchi ho gayi hai."

This is, however, not the first time that a film has made fun of actors. In Kangana Ranaut's recent film Queen, the actress takes a dig at Emraan Hashmi. She compliments his kissing style when she says, "Indians her cheez mein best hote hain..Indians kissing mein bhi best hote hain..Emraan Hashmi ki pictures nahi dekhi hai kya."

No money, no film!

Traumatised by the sudden exit of editor Shan Mohammed, the makers of Revolver Rani get veteran Aarti Bajaj as a last-minute replacement.

Even as Kangana Ranaut continues to be applauded for her performance in Queen, the makers of her next, Revolver Rani, are running helter-skelter to finish the film. 

Mirror has learnt that Shan Mohammed, the film's editor who has worked on Wake up Sid and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, left the film midway over non-payment of dues. And the makers were left staring at the raw footage and desperately looking for a replacement who could start working from scratch, so they could keep the April 25 deadline. 

Revealed a source, "Shan had completed the rough cut but despite his repeated pleas, he wasn't paid his dues. He decided to dump the project towards the end of February. This came as a shock to both debutant director Sai Kabir and the film's producers." 

The makers tried to reason with Shan but he refused to budge until he was paid his money. 

The filmmakers eventually hired Aarti Bajaj who has edited Highway and Rockstar. She is presently racing against time to finish the film. "The final cut is still not ready and they're just weeks away from the release," added the source. 

When contacted, director Sai Kabir confirmed that Shan had indeed walked out from the film, but came up with a rather strange cover up. "Yes, he left the film. But I wanted a different point of view. There were no money issues." 

Shan however told Mirror, "I'm no longer involved with Revolver Rani. If I am working on a film, I expect to get paid. Or else, why should I keep working?"

2 States soundtrack has soul and young energy

After Offo and Locha-E-Ulfat, the makers of 2 States will launch another song, Mast Magan, today. A romantic track picturised on lead actors Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, it shows how the bond between their respective characters — Punjabi Krish Malhotra and Tamilian Ananya Swaminathan — strengthens. It has been filmed at real locations in Tamil Nadu — a temple at Mylapore and a pier at Ennore beach.

With the signature step in Locha... having caught on, the makers are optimistic about the new song also connecting with the audience. The film's producers — Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala — have had successful collaborations with the composer trio, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, in the past. And this time around, director Abhishek Varman was keen on them composing the soundtrack. "The idea was to create a romantic album that not only has soul, but also young energy," enthuses Karan, adding, "These kind of songs have a longer shelf life. They're not item-based or seasonal."

Sajid says, "SEL has given great music in my films Housefull and Heyy Babyy. Mast... is my favourite track in the 2 States album and I think it will grow." Karan and Sajid are also unanimous in their praise for singer Arijit Singh. "His voice has a haunting quality and makes the song stay with you," Sajid says. Karan reserves a special mention for lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya as well. "He is a strong talent in music. Amitabh's words tend to have a colloquial nature, but they also have a tremendous amount of soul."

It seems like it was a dream come true for comedy king Kapil Sharma when he got a chance to meet the shehanshah of Bollywood Amitach Bachchan on the sets of his celebrated show Comedy Nights with Kapil.

Reports are already in the media about Big B gracing the sets of Comedy Nights... of course to promote his upcoming film Bhoothnath Returns. With this, the comedy king Kapil Sharma, who seemed to be one of the greatest fans OF Amitabh Bachchan was overwhelmed on meeting the legendary actor for a promo shoot of the episode where Big B will appear.

And Kapil Sharma's Twitter update says it all. He tweeted, 'Finally met my idol @SrBachchan hav no words to explain how m feeling right now... Feeling feverish'

Did you read the word 'Feverish'? That means Kapil Sharma who usually make other celebrities go 'feverish' with his questions and punches is for the first time experiencing being on the other side.

"Amitabh Bachchan is expected to shoot for the show on 2nd of April, 2014 and the promo shoot of the same has been done," says a source.

Also the father-son duo, Tushar Kapoor and Jeetendra graced the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil on 26th March, 2014.

Sarika has asked daughter Akshara to concentrate on her film debut instead of current flame Tanuj Virwani.

Sarika and Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara's growing friendship with Rati Agnihotri's son Tanuj Virwani has not gone down well with the actress's mother, according to the grapevine. 

Sources say that Sarika doesn't want Akshara to be "distracted" by ishq vishq. She has advised her to focus on her Bollywood debut, R Balki's next, in which she will share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush. 

However, Akshara has turned a deaf ear to Sarika's counsel and continues to spend quality time with Tanuj. He was earlier linked with Izabelle Liete who is now spotted with Sidharth Malhotra. 

Buzz is, Tanuj's Worli residence has become a meeting point for the young couple every Saturday. A few other friends join in too. 

The romance also created ripples on the sets of Purani Jeans which stars Rati, Sarika and Tanuj. 

Revealed a source close to the production, "Thankfully, Rati and Sarika did not have any scenes together. But Sarika made her displeasure clear when it came to shooting with Tanuj." 

To add to Sarika's woes, Akshara visited her at the film's Manali location too and stayed on for several days. During this time, the two youngsters spent a lot of time together. 

When Mirror contacted the film's director Tanushree Basu to enquire about the cold vibes between Sarika and Tanuj, she admitted, "Sarika is very strict when it comes to work. She likes to be focussed while shooting." 

Added Tanushree, "As for Tanuj, I can only say that he was really nervous while shooting with Sarika. At the end of the day, she is a veteran, isn't she?" 

Sarika chose not to respond to our calls and text messages.

Aamir Khan fires salvo at B'bay Velvet

It is yet to be seen who blinks first--Aamir Khan or Anurag Kashyap. But, the fact that Rajkumar Hirani's Aamir starrer, P.K., which was earlier scheduled for June 6, has now chosen to release on the Christmas week, a date pencilled months in advance by Anurag for his ambitious film, Bombay Velvet, has not gone down well with the director who made his displeasure public in an interview to Mirror (March 18). This has apparently miffed the 48-year old star. 

Aamir took a dig at one of the makers of Bombay Velvet, Madhu Mantena, when the two bumped into each other at Kangana Ranaut's birthday party on Sunday. He walked up to Mantena and quipped, his voice dripping with sarcasm, "Kya bhai, aaj kal toh tum bade star ban gaye ho. Aur hum to purane actor hokar rahe gaye." Those standing close by had no trouble figuring out what he meant. 

The two had been good friends during the Ghajini days. Mantena had produced this Aamir-starrer which went on to become one of the biggest grossers. 

Says an eyewitness to the exchange, "Aamir was indirectly taking a potshot at Madhu. He sounded really ticked off, Madhu didn't know which way to look." 

When contacted, Mantena said, "Aamir and I did chat up at Kangana's party but only about his TV show, Satyamev Jayate."

I've signed a film, now my show can't be bi-weekly

From being blamed for Guthi's exit to being accused of starry tantrums and holding the channel to ransom, Kapil Sharma has his plate full. The popular TV host, who is now all set to turn actor, clears the air.

Allegation 1: It's being said that you want Comedy Nights with Kapil to air only once a week so that you can focus on films and the channel is upset with your decision.

That's true. The original plan was a 26-episode run without a break after which we would evaluate our next step. The response was so overwhelming that we continued to roll.

But having a bi-weekly show is too much of pressure. Besides being the host, I am the show's producer too and involved with every creative aspect and can't let the quality fall.

Now that I have signed a film, it will be difficult to devote so much time to the show. I have communicated my decision to the channel. I hope they understand and take a call.


Allegation 2: Your differences with Sunil Grover, who played Guthi on the show, eventually lead to his exit and you were left without one of your principal players.

I don't know who started this rumour that Sunil and I had problems. In fact, he called me on Monday after hearing that I am laid low with a back problem. We still talk, and very warmly too. What more do I need to say to put this controversy to rest once and for all?

The reason he left my show was because he was getting many attractive offers and decided to move on.


Allegation 3: You aren't too impressed with his new show, Mad in India 100% Desi Show.

It lacks charm. It was promoted as Guthi's show, but it has far more characters than I have in my show. Sunil had a better platform with me. There was something special when we worked together. I even had a chat with him on this before he left.


Allegation 4: You walked out of the inaugural event of the Cricket Celebrity League because you were not given a vanity van.

I have a back problem which tends to recur every six months. I had been shooting through the night and headed straight to the stadium. I needed a place to change. I was asking simply for the basic amenities.

Then, my back pain aggravated and I was forced to leave. The next day the headlines were screaming, 'Kapil ne liya Salman se panga.' Baap re!


Allegation 5: Reportedly, you were rude to Kangana Ranaut when she came on your show as a guest.

I had a different perception of Kangana before I met her. But I found her to be really sweet. She was very sporting about the jokes too.



Allegation 6: Seems you have grown too big for your boots and keep stars waiting on the sets of your show for hours.

If that is true the world would have ended by now. How can I make a star wait? If any delay happened, it must have because I was busy with my team or looking into some backstage details.

Ragini MMS 2 director Bhushan Patel's next horror film will be filmed in the backwaters of Kerela.

Bhushan Patel is dazed by the response to Ragini MMS 2. "My first directorial 1920-The Evil Returns was a hit, this one is an even bigger hit," he says. 

But he's not resting on his laurels. He's been signed by Kumar Mangat to direct another horror film. "But this one won't be a horrex (horror+sex) flick like the Ragini Part 2 but more on the lines of my first film which was a classic period horror romance. It's a love triangle with a twist." 

Bhushan wards off the inevitable query about repeating Sunny Leone, pointing out that while she was a perfect fit for Ragini MMS 2, she would be miscast in this one. "We've approached Aditi Rao Hydari and we're hoping for the nod," he says. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised. 

While his first film was shot in Sweden and the next one in a bungalow in Dahanu, this one will start in Mumbai and in South India. "Ghost stories are usually associated with hill stations, I want to shoot this on the backwaters of Kerela. I hope to roll by the first week of May," he reveals. 

Meanwhile there's been talk that the second half of Ragini MMS 2 was reshot with Antony D'Silva. Bhushan laughs off the rumours saying, "If that was true would my name have figured in the film's posters or credits? Tony is a friend of producer Ekta Kapoor so he dropped by on the sets. But he wasn't reshooting the film. Ekta liked the first half but she had some creative inputs for the second half. We incorporated the changes du-ring the ongoing schedule." 

So why was the film delayed? Bhushan admits they weren't ready with the film in October and in December they didn't want to come up against big films like R....Rajkumar. 

"Besides 2013 hadn't been a lucky year for Ekta so we decided to move to 2014. It was Ekta's call and I didn't mind. At the end of the day what's important is that we have a hit."

KICK is the only Salman Khan movie to be released in 2014 after JAI HO.
Now if we talk about 2015, nothing is confirmed yet. Salman is eyeing on three movies but has not decided yet which film he will do and when it will release. Those three movies are :
Untitled movie with Kabir Khan where both Salman and Kabir will co produce the movie.
Untitled Movie with Sooraj Barjatya. This will be a family drama. Reportedly, Salman wants to release this movie on Diwali 2015.

While Ranveer Singh has the project safely tucked away in his kitty, the hunt for the female model is on for the commercial and the shoot for the same has been scheduled for March 30, 2014 and March 31, 2014.

On the work front, its reported that Ranveer Singh is also set to team uo with his girlfriendDeepika Padukone for Karan Johar’s most talked about film Shuddhi.

Director Karan Malhotra and producer Karan Johar have yet to discuss details about the role with Ranveer, who is currently in Delhi for the shoot of his upcoming film Kill Dill.

Apple expected to sit out on megapixel horserace with 2014 iPhones

Smartphone manufacturers are expected to continue their battle for pixel-pushing dominance in 2014 with new cameras of 13 megapixels and beyond, but according to one insider, Apple is currently expected to sit out on the megapixel race this year to concentrate on other ways to better images from its next iPhone.

People familiar with the matter have told AppleInsider that Apple will likely forego a high-megapixel camera in its 2014 iPhone offerings, in favor of tweaking other image-enhancing components. In other words, megapixels are less of a priority for Apple than overall image quality.

The current iPhone 5s is a good example of how Apple is not interested in playing the numbers game when it comes to camera sensor pixel count. Instead of boosting the number of pixels in the iPhone 5s camera, Apple enlarged each pixel's size to 1.5 microns in diameter, a 0.1-micron increase from the iPhone 5. The larger surface area increased the sensor's light gathering capabilities by 33 percent compared to the previous iSight rear facing camera. 

Outside of the camera sensor, Apple refined the iPhone's optics package to allow for greater light transmission. The 5s brought a faster f/2.2 lens group into the mix, offering better low-light performance and improved image quality.

This does not mean that the next-gen iPhone will stick with the same 8MP iSight camera as the iPhone 5s and 5c, but may suggest Apple is planning a more conservative upgrade route. The most recent resolution change was seen with the iPhone 4S to iPhone 5, which brought a 3MP bump.

Apple's apparent lack of interest in "out-megapixeling" its competition comes as a number of upcoming high-profile smartphone releases from iPhone competitors are expected to reach 13MP and beyond. In a research note issued this week, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo detailed how major manufacturers are racing to shoehorn 13MP+ CMOS image sensors (CIS) into this year's handsets, including Samsung, numerous Chinese brands, and even Amazon, which is expected to enter the smartphone market in the next 3 to 6 months.

Sony has been the sole provider for Apple's backside illuminated iPhone CIS products since the iPhone 4S. This is interesting considering he also expects the Japanese electronics giant to be the dominant supplier for this year's round of 13MP+ sensors, taking a 65.7-percent share of the market.

"In terms of technology, Sony leads CIS suppliers with its BSI process, which boasts better sensitivity and color saturation quality," Kuo writes. "In 13MP and higher spec, the smaller pixel size creates more difficulty to sensitivity and color saturation. This is where Sony's BSI process stands out." 

The analyst sees shipments of smartphones carrying 13MP+ cameras growing 70 percent year-on-year, a rate significantly higher than that of phones using 8MP and 5MP shooters. Leading the charge is Samsung, which will also use Sony's CIS, as well as a variety of lesser-known Chinese brands.

Marketshare of 13MP-and-above smartphones will continue to rise in 2015 as higher resolution sensors replace the current high-end smartphone standard of 8MP. By the end of fiscal 2014, 13MP cameras will account for 65 percent of these high-resolution components, Kuo says.

Further, next-generation application processors (APs) coming out this year will offer support 13MP+ image sensors, meaning lower-end smartphones can use the technology as a growth driver. As seen below, most AP makers will have some sort of offering in 2014. The only company to keep its chips premium is Samsung. 

Rival Samsung, however, is one of the main contenders and will ship the Galaxy S5 with 16MP camera in the next couple of months.

One final graphic from Kuo's projections show Sony will launch a 21MP 1/2.4" CIS in the last quarter of 2014. Although the pixel count is nearly triple that of Apple's current iSight camera, the introduction may hint at the direction in which the company will be pulled by component purchasers as the megapixel race continues.

The nineteen year old pop sensation, Justin Bieber sent out messages over his Twitter feed stating that he is all set to retire. Now the timing could not have been more perfect as on the same day his latest biopic documentary hit the theaters. Aptly titled Justin Bieber’s Believe, the film follows the trials and tribulations of the singer since his 2011 biopic.

Justin who nearly has about forty eight million followers on twitter wrote: “My beloved I’m officially retiring”, now this was followed by another message that read: “I’m never leaving you, I AM HERE FOREVER.”

This retirement message went out on the night of Christmas Eve and by the following morning had nearly a quarter million re-tweets and over two lakh  favorites.

It is puzzling as to why Justin Bieber would suddenly step out of the limelight at this particular moment, unless he is doing all this for publicity and making sure that his fans flock the theaters to catch the glimpse of their icon one last time. It could also drive his fans to watch and see if there are any clues in the film as to why he is stepping down.

Justin’s Manager Scooter Braun revealed that he told Bieber to take a break from public scrutiny and concentrate on his music.

All said and done Justin Bieber’s official announcement of retirement seems a bit over-the-top and still seems a drastic move.

Be it his scuffle with a photographer outside a London hotel during his European Tour or threatening his Los Angeles home neighbour or his involvement in a so called hit and run case when we struck a photographer with his Ferrari sports car while driving away from a comedy club in Los Angeles, Justin has been involved in a series of headline-grabbing incidents over the past year.

Now post all these issues and his announcement to retire all we can do is wait and watch Justin Bieber’s next move because for all you know it could also be an elaborate joke!

IT’S OFFICIAL! Avatar Sequel To Be Shot In New Zealand

The next two installments of the film Avatar would be filmed in the picturesque locations of New Zealand confirmed James Cameron, the director of the film.

James Cameron says his vision is to create a family epic in the mould of The Godfather that will introduce viewers to new cultures and go underwater on his fictional moon Pandora and that’s the reason for two more installments.

James Cameron said that he plans to release the first sequel in 2016, seven years after the release of Avatar that created Box Office history.

He said a core team has been developing new software for the sequels even while he’s been gone on other projects, including eighteen months planning a seven mile descent to the deepest part of the ocean, which he successfully completed last year.

Cameron said the films would explore different Na’vi cultures as well as the cultures of other Pandora creatures. The sequel has a fair bit of underwater stuff and there are underwater scenes and surface-water scenes having to do with indigenous ocean cultures. Now water is enormously difficult to recreate on a computer, something he’s been talking about with Joe Letteri, the visual effects supervisor at Weta Digital and that’s why the delay in starting the filming for his film.

Avatar was Jake Sully centric, but the sequels would be spread around his family with a lot of new imagery and a lot of new environments and creatures across Pandora.

Cameron said the theme of sustainability that runs through the Avatar series also extends to his personal life. He and his fifth wife Suzy Amis bought a farm about ninety minutes drive from Wellington where they spend some of the year with their three children.

He said he plans to bring his own helicopter from California to help make the commute from the farm to Wellington when he’s working on the movies.

Here’s wishing the entire team of Avatar all the best and we do hope that the sequel would also create the same magic at the Box Office that the first one did.

Fans first noticed the change when Kesha announced her return via twitter. Kesha wrote, “Happy to be back. Feeling healthy and working on tons of new music. I can’t thank my fans enough for all the love and support you have given me,” under the new account name Kesha Rose.

Kesha cancelled weeks of tour dates when she checked into Illinois based treatment centerTimberline Knolls, outside of Chicago, the same facility where pop star Demi Lovato sought help in the year 2010.

Before leaving for the rehab, Kesha took on to twitter and wrote, “I am a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I have found it hard to practice. I will be unavailable for the next thirty days; seeking treatment for my eating disorder and learning to love myself again.”

Kesha later extended her stay, vowing to get her health back on track. Kesha’s mother, Pebe Sebert, is a Tennessee born songwriter who frequently collaborates with her daughter, claimed that her daughter had almost died before making the decision to seek help.

According to media reports, Kesha told friends that her music producer, Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald, better known as Doctor Luke, had repeatedly called her a fat refrigerator, which caused her the eating disorder. However, Doctor Luke has vehemently denied that his weight bullying caused Kesha’s eating disorders.

Kesha’s last featured release, Timber, a track recorded with Pitbull, took the number one position in the UK Official singles chart. After being on the top for nine weeks, it currently sits on position number twelve.

It’s Official – Cheryl Cole Is Back On The X Factor!

Cheryl Cole has finally made an official comeback by signing a deal to return as a judge on The X Factor for a reported £1.5 million.

Music mogul and X Factor creator Simon Cowell revealed Cheryl Cole’s return via twitter, “It’s official. Cheryl is back. Most importantly she is a brilliant judge of talent.”

Appearing at the X Factor press conference, along with Simon Cowell, which took place on March 11, 2014 in London, Cheryl Cole looked like she has got the X Factor herself as she looked drop dead gorgeous in a lattice detail dress by American fashion designer, Lela Rose, her newly-dyed blonder than ever hair, Cutler And Gross sunglasses and Christian Louboutinheels.

Cheryl Cole will join Simon Cowell, who is also returning to the UK X Factor after its US counterpart was cancelled last month.

The duo’s return is expected to boost the ratings of the UK X Factor, after last year’s series which attracted some of the lowest audiences in the show’s history. The final, in which Sam Bailey won, pulled in an overnight audience of around 9.6 million viewers, compared with a high of 17 millionduring Cheryl Cole’s last appearance in the year 2010.

Cheryl Cole has had a successful three year stint on the UK X Factor from the year 2008 to 2010, before leaving with Cowell to film the show’s US version in 2011. She had been signed for two series but was dropped just weeks after beginning the show amid claims that Americans could not understand her accent.

Cheryl Cole, reportedly fell out with Simon Cowell following the decision but, given the fact that she is back on the UK show, it seems the pair has sorted out their differences.

Kate Winslet To Be Honoured With The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Kate Winslet will be honoured with A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame thus joining the select band of movie stars, directors and industry figures.

Titanic director James Cameron and her former co-star Kathy Bates, will present Kate Winsletwith the accolade.

It was first reported that Kate Winslet would receive A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame in the year 2012 for her role in The Reader, which has won her the Oscars for Best Actress, aBAFTA for Best Leading Actress and a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.

Ana Martinez, Producer of the Walk Of Fame ceremonies said: “We are so happy that Kate Winslet will be here on our famous boulevard of dreams receiving her well-deserved star. We have seen Kate shine in her roles and fans around the world who have been anxiously waiting for this special day to come.”

Kate Winslet is going to be the 2,520th star to be receiving the honour. Kate will be presented with her brand new star outside the W Hollywood Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, on Monday, March 17, 2014.

Other actresses who have been added to the star-studded pavement recently include Non Stopstar Julianne Moore and Jane Lynch from Glee.

The news came just weeks after Kate Winslet admitted that she doesn’t really know any celebrities, despite being good friends with Leonardo DiCaprio, because she doesn’t watch reality television.

The mother-of-three, Kate Winslet has been married to Ned Rocknroll, the nephew of Virgin billionaire Richard Branson, for just over a year. The couple welcomed their first child, and Kate’s third, a baby boy Bear, last December.

Kate has two teenage children, Mia and Joe, from her previous marriages to film director Jim Threapleton and stage and film director Sam Mendes, respectively.

Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate V/S Salman Khan’s Mission Sapne

Aamir Khan is on the roll with Satyamev Jayate and the buzz is that his good friend and confidantSalman Khan too would be seen in a show that would deal with social issues titled Mission Sapne.

Just like Satyamev Jayate, Salman Khan’s Mission Sapne is also about the common man. Off what we have heard, each episode of Mission Sapne would have a celebrity who would be leading the life of a common man for a day and give the earnings to the common people whose life he would be leading.

“I am very happy Salman is doing this kind of a show. I wish more people from industry come and support it (social issues),” stated Aamir Khan.

Aamir Khan, on the other hand has dedicated 2014 to Satyamev Jayate and said that his monetary earnings from the programme are not as what people thing it should be, but he is enriched by the experience of meeting different people.

There were reports that Aamir Khan was not charging anything for the show but the actor said, “I do take money for the show. I think I should take money for the work I do. I used to earn more money through commercials but I don’t do a lot of commercials now. If I look at it financially and commercially, then I am earning less. But my earning is more in another way, like meeting people from various walks of life, touching their lives. I feel enriched,” Aamir told reporters.

Satyamev Jayate has been one of the most influential television shows in the recent times. The first season saw Aamir Khan raising some sensitive topics like female foeticide, child sexual abuse, medical malpractice, dowry system, love marriages and honour killings among others.

In the second season, which kicked off on March 02, 2014 issues like rape and police reforms were raised. Aamir Khan, however, has been tight lipped about the subjects, which would be highlighted in the upcoming episodes.
